Temperatures around the U.S. are finally starting to climb a bit as we pass from the longest, coldest winter most of us can remember into spring, which is currently forecast to be stormy, wet and unseasonably cool for many of us.  As the seasons begin the quarterly transition, we’ll see the cooler and warmer pockets of air generate some particularly severe lines of thunderstorms . . . and then it’s on to tropical storm season and, before we know it, winter.

To help out even more this season, we’ve put together an assortment of events that are designed to help you keep ahead of what’s in store.  More on that next week but for now, we’re hosting two free webinars this month to help you get prepared and stay prepared:

  • The 2010 Atlantic Hurricane Season Outlook Update webinar will take place on Tuesday, April 20th at 10:30CDT.  Hosted by ImpactWeather TropicsWatch Manager Chris Hebert, this seminar will run about half an hour.
  •  Surviving the 2010 Storm Season will take place on Wednesday, April 28th, will run from 10:30 to 11:30CDT and will be hosted by ImpactReady Manager Mike Thomson.

Note: You don’t have to be an ImpactWeather client to attend either of these webinars.

It’s not just a matter of being ready, it’s critical that you’re in the constant process of getting ready: prepare, plan, respond, recover.  And that’s what ImpactWeather and ImpactReady help our clients do every single day.
